Michael Jordan is regarded by many as the greatest to ever play the game. It's a strong case and it's really hard to say otherwise, but most people really don't know why. Is it the 6 championship rings? The game winning shots? His tenacious leadership? Is it his top notch defensive drive? Is it the ultra hot girlfriend? It's hard to pinpoint the reason for his greatness but if I had to choose just one, it'll be his unparalleled competitive nature that carries his will to win. It's amazing how he refuses to lose every single game and how he gives everything he has to get the W (flu game).
I'm fortunate enough to actually watch him play and know the difference between His Airness and today's superstars. For those who didn't get to watch him play back in the day, I hope that this video gives you chills. If you're one of the fortunate ones to have seen him play before, experience Mike's magic again in the BEST Jordan video available.
(I just watched it again, got goosebumps.)
It's hard to take away from the greats like Kareem, Magic, Bird and Wilt. From the 2000's we've got guys like Kobe, Tim Duncan, KG and Shaq- is Jordan really better than all these guys? Let's just say that you'll be starting a basketball team tomorrow, who would be your first pick?
